Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is proud to be announced as the headline sponsor for this year's 'Golf For Kids' event.
The event, which takes place at Clyne Golf Club on Friday 7th June, will look to raise much-needed funds for the 'Cash For Kids' charity and is being coordinated by local radio station, The Wave & Swansea Sound.
Andrew Douglas from The Wave said, "Cash For Kids looks to help those children who need it most - from operations to end of life care to helping schools in deprived areas - so to have Mortgage Advice Bureau on board as title sponsors gives the event a great boost."
The sponsorship is part of the Kingsway based business' commitment to the local area and comes on the back of a series of other community-based initiatives that revolve around sport.
"We do as much as we can to help various sports teams in the area," said MAB director David Lewis, "and when we were approached to sponsor this event, we didn't hesitate to lend our support as Cash for Kids is such a great charity."
Golfers of all abilities are welcome to enter a 4-ball team, which begins with a shotgun start at 12pm, and the day is geared around having a fun time and promises not to be overly competitive.
"We want as many local businesses as possible to get involved," said MAB director Richard Hullin, "so are opening the event up to novices and seasoned players alike."
After a bacon roll and coffee before teeing off, players will play 18 holes on one of Gowers best courses before enjoying a two-course meal, a few drinks and an auction to raise more money for the charity.
