We wish to recruit a highly knowledgeable Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our vibrant city centre Glasgow office.
Mortgage Advice Bureau provide expert mortgage and protection advice to a range of clients, from first time buyers applying through help to buy, to families looking to expand their home, to landlords adding to their portfolio.
We are looking for a Mortgage Processing Expert to join our excellent Operations team.
This is a Full Time Role.
Job Specification
Reporting into our Head of Sales, you will be offering professional mortgage advice in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulations, providing the most suitable mortgage advice for our clients.
You will be surrounded by a team of motivated individuals who will encourage and support you to successfully achieve targets.
Other tasks will involve recommending other financial services, such as insurance to our clients.
There will be opportunities to grow and develop your skills and abilities into commercial and specialist lending bringing an exciting new dynamic to the role.
The key skills required for the position include:
• Mortgage & Protection experience
• An understanding of the importance of compliance in a regulated world
• Confidence in working with numbers and explaining figures and financial products to your clients
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
• Excellent customer service skills
• A strong drive and motivation to exceed target expectation
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Effective diary management
• Display a determination and commitment to go the extra mile for clients
• Ability to work in a regulated environment
• Experience in commercial and/or specialist lending is preferrable
We Require:
• Full Cemap qualification (or equivalent) along with competent Adviser status
• A good track record of providing mortgage and protection advice
• Sales background
• Ambitious, highly driven, goal orientated individual who will be able to generate activity from a selection of introducers
• Meet compliance and administrative expectation
