Almost a year ago, Steve and Kelly left the office and moved everything into their home.
It certainly was quite the adjustment! Steve had a home office anyway, but Kelly had to quickly find herself something – the sunroom it is!
Working from home with children completing schoolwork can be challenging, as everyone quickly found out. However, with older children studying for GCSEs and A levels, they are thankfully more than capable of independent study – although the Wi-Fi is working overtime!
Luckily, however, it is business as usual and they feel extremely grateful to be able to work from home in the current pandemic. To have a business that was able to remain open throughout this difficult time has really felt like a godsend to Steve and Kelly. In return, they continued to provide the same excellent service to all their clients, that they have done so for the last 13 years.
Steve and Kelly have adapted well: appointments are all currently telephone based and are currently able to accept documents via email or if they dropped off to the office (which we collect after hours).
We fully understand that the past 11 months has been both an emotional and financial concern to many clients, and so Steve and Kelly want to reassure clients that they are still at the end of the phone to offer advice and support on all aspects of mortgages – whether it be concerning their current one or exploring options on moving.
Just like the rest of the UK, they are eager to return to our town centre office ASAP! Steve misses face to face contact with clients and Kelly misses her networking (visit to the local shops in her lunch break)!
