As first time buyers we never knew the proper process, and Jake was a massive help guiding us through. I also had additional trouble being self employed so additional questions were asked for me to answer and again Jake helped me out even working for us until as late as 10pm on weekends. After the full process was complete Jake even let us know what dates solicitors were talking about completing and let us know in quick time. All in all I would 100% recommend MAB and definitely recommend Jake Calder if you have any questions or need help sorting out any mortgages

Mark has been a great advisor during the process of seeking a mortgage, He is very knowledgeable on all the details and has made things a lot less stressful. He has been very accommodating with meetings and is always contactable regardless of time. Mark was recommended by a colleague and I can see why. Mark takes pride in his work ensuring that all my questions are answered and for this I would be recommending him to family/friends who are looking to get on the property ladder.

Never having done this before I had little knowledge of the process , and concern about my status due to some blips on my credit history . My advisor Stuart was super helpful , very patiently dealing with all of my enquiries , talking me through the process and assisting me to understand what information I needed to provide . The advisor was very diligent and successfully got me a mortgage offer . He was polite , friendly , efficient and very patient . I can not recommended him / the MAB highly enough , fabulous service .

Questions about our mortgage calculators

What are mortgage calculators?

Our mortgage calculators are digital tools designed to help you estimate your potential borrowing power and mortgage repayments. They’re a handy way of helping you understand your financial commitments before speaking to one of our expert advisers.

Is using our mortgage calculators right for you?

Our free digital tools are designed for anyone looking to purchase a home. This means if you’re a first time buyer, someone looking to move home, or you’re on the hunt for a remortgaging deal, our calculators are for you.

What information do I need to use a calculator and how does it work?

We have several handy calculators for borrowing, mortgage repayments, remortgaging, and Stamp Duty.

These all require two to three pieces of key information, which the calculators then use to provide you with an indication on what the potential costs could be.

Please remember that lenders also take a close look at other factors. These will include your credit score, financial history, and personal expenditures. All of this information will affect the actual calculation of your mortgage and monthly repayments.

Our mortgage calculators empower you to be as informed as possible when it comes to finding the right mortgage deal for you and your circumstances.

What are the next steps after using the calculators?

If you’d like to discuss moving forward with your homebuying journey, our expert advisers are here to help provide guidance and answer any questions you may have. You can also download the My MAB app, which allows you to save, plan, and track every stage of buying your new home and beyond.
